The exhibition uni-form? Body, Fashion and Labour made to measure ist dedicated to past and present of textile artisanery and sartorial production in eastern German province Brandenburg-Prussia. The project is realised in cooperation with and for Haus der Brandenburgisch-Preußischen Geschichte in Potsdam. The exhibition captures the evolution of sartorial craftmanship leading to batch production until the point of today’s mass production. It also examines the development of the varying methods of measurement and the appraoch of a standartisation of our human body.
The exhibition architecture has been designed by students within the Interdisziplinäres Raumlabor of the Master’s course Bühnenbild_Szenischer Raum at Technical University Berlin and was supervised by Prof. Albert Lang.
