Dr. Stefan Gräbener, Architect, CAD, TU Berlin
born 1965 in Berlin, private apprenticeship as goldsmith. 1987-1995 Architecture degree at the HdK Berlin. 1993 stonemason workshop in Krastal, Kärten, Austria. 1995 graduation, HdK. Since 2000 member of the Berliner Architektenkammer. Since 1989 freelancer, all work phases in various architects bureaus in Berlin and London. 1990 participant at archaeological excavation of the DAI-Berlin in Didyma, Turkey. 1999 contracted excavation architect, archaeological survey, Universität Würzburg in Loryma Turkey. Since 1985 solo and group exhibitions in photography and jewellery design. Since 1999 freelance tutoring in AutoCAD, VectorWorks, SketchUp, Photoshop and WebDesign. 2000-2006 research assistant, digital architectural presentation (focus on CAAD) at the Institut für Architektur, department Technische Architekturdarstellung (TAD), faculty VI, TU Berlin. 2004 participation in Marco Arturo Marelli “Der Rosenkavalier” for the Finnish National Opera Helsinki. 2004-2005 teaching post in technical-visual design, postgraduate course Bühnenbild at the TU Berlin. 2006-2007 research assistant and coordinator, postgraduate course Bühnenbild at the TU. Since 2006 tutor for digital architectural presentation (focus on CAAD) at the Institut für Architektur, department Technische Architekturdarstellung (TAD), faculty VI, TU Berlin. Assistant scenographer to Hans Dieter Schaal for “Tiefland” at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Currently working on doctorate “Ein Architekt als Bühnenbildner: Hans Dieter Schaal”.
