fettfilm Video Artist
Momme Hinrichs and Torge Møller are the creative-duo behind the Berlin label fettFilm. They joined forces in 2000 in order to explore the possible uses of digital video techniques in theatre, music and dance pieces. Since spring 2005, Møller and Hinrichs have been sharing their forward-looking know-how as lecturers at the TU Berlin in the masters programme Bühnenbild. fettFilm installations don’t merely coexist with the set or serve as stage decoration. Rather, they aim to combine video with other mediums creating an artistic whole where several artistic levels merge. fettFilm has produced work for the Berliner Staatsoper unter den Linden, the Semperoper Dresden, the L’Opéra National de Paris as well as for the Bregenzer Festspiele. Directors such as Dieter Wedel and Bernd Eichinger have also engaged fettFilm in the past. Together with Reto Nickler the Berliners produced „Moses und Aaron” at the Wiener Staatsoper in June 2006. Before that they worked on Doris Dörrie’s „La finta Giardiniera” at the Landestheater Salzburg.
