Figure in Scene

First, the definition of the figure through character analysis and psychology will be emphasised. The figure’s relationship to the performance space and to the other characters, idle as well as in motion, needs to be determined. Nude drawings, the study of materials and motion analysis will prepare students for the design of figurines. Part of the development of the figurine will be the in-depth analysis of materiality, surface structure and of pertinent colour schemes.
