Nicole Förster

Apprenticeship as a hairdresser 1996-1999/ 2000-2004: studied at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden (HfBK): degree course (Fachhochschulstudiengang) in scenography, specialisation: make up/ 2004-2009 worked as a make up artist at the Semperoper Dresden/ 2007-2011 guest lectureship at the HfBK Dresden for techniques involving cold and hot foam, classical hairdressing and studies in style/ since 2009: freelance make up artist in Berlin/ since the repertory season 2011/ 2012: appointment as a make up artist for the play Damen Solo at the Komische Oper/ Berlin (part-time). Förster has also worked as a make up artist at various theatres (for instance the Staatsoper unter den Linden, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Kabarett-Theater Distel/ Berlin, the Theater Junge Generation/ Dresden, Oper Frankfurt) and on the sets of national and international film productions.
