Charlotte Tamschick, Scenographer, Tamschick Media+Space GmbH
Charlotte Tamschick studied Art History in Perugia, Tübingen and Stuttgart, with a focus contemporary art and new media. She has been working as a scenographer for ten years, creating spacial concepts and compositions for museums, galleries, Expos and trade fairs and media spaces. 1998-2003 ATILIER BRÜCKNER, Stuttgart. Participation in establishing the interdisciplinary, international Labatory for Architects and Scenographers from initially 4 to currently over 70 members. Department head for concepts and competitions (www.atelier.brueckner.de). 2004-2007 Berlin, freelance work for a variety international agencies; conception, scenography for exhibitions, museums, theme parks, trade fairs, media spaces. Since April 2009, Charlotte Tamschick runs the department for concept at Tamschick, media+space GmbH, founded in 2007 by Marc Tamschick (www.tamschick.com). Guest lecturer at Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Basel and for Masters course „Art in Context“ at the UdK, Berlin.
