Frank Hänig, Stage and Costume Designer, Arc
born 1955 in Eisenach. Engagements as stage and costume designer and also director. Degree at the Kunsthochschule Weissensee,Berlin, student-exchange at the art academies in Warsaw, Krakow and St. Petersburg. First production design as a student at the BE workshop theatre.1986-1996 head of stage design at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. Engagements at home an abroad including: Berlin, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Mainz, Aachen, Potsdam, Oldenburg, Essen, Maastricht, Knoxville and Nicosia. Since 1983 teaching post in Stage and Costume Design at the Kunsthochschule Weissensee Berlin, Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden, Mozarteum Salzburg, Theatre Department University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the TU Berlin.
