In cooperation with the Chemnitz Theatres, various concept ideas for stage and costume were developed under the direction of Frank Hänig for the drama production “Every City Needs Its Hero” by Philipp Löhle.

When the world outside is becoming more and more insecure and brutal, can one simply lock oneself up at home? Don’t we have to declare war on injustice? Four characters increasingly lose their self-determination in dealing with a society that is more and more characterized by a mercilessly waged distribution struggle. And news of cold-blooded crimes keeps spreading – and suddenly also of a superhero who seems to stand in the way of all violence.
