In a realization competition under the direction of Frank Hänig, concepts for stage and costume for the play “Lenz. Fortress. Ich” (collage after Georg Büchner) were designed.

“Lenz, a student in a big city, would prefer to walk on his head. To see the world upside down. His relationship has broken down, his political commitment seems to him to have no perspective. He finds no place in society, but perhaps society has no place for him. He is looking for another life – but which one and where can this life be found? Lenz buys a ticket. Where the journey will take him, he does not know. The road becomes a destination and a confrontation with a feeling self whose painful cries bounce off the concrete walls of the houses and are swallowed up by the polyphony of the big city.”
