We are opening our mask-making course to external guests!
The profession of a mask-maker thrives on practical work, whether with make-up, hair, fabrics, paints, clay, etc. This course aims to give participants an understanding of the profession and illustrate everyday processes in theater practice, as well as providing an insight into the work involved in creating a mask—from the face cast to the finished papier-mâché mask. Participants will model and paint a mask based on their own color design. Various materials, techniques, working methods, and examples from theater practice will be introduced and demonstrated.
