Stage and Costume Designer
Christina Mrosek is a freelance stage and costume designer from Berlin. She completed her studies as a stage designer in the Netherlands and Hamburg (HfbK). Since 2007 she has been working in German-speaking regions for city theaters and operas, such as the National Theater Mannheim, Theater Oberhausen, German Theater Berlin, Theater Aachen, Theater Basel, E.T.A. Hoffmann Theater Bamberg, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin. At the same time she strives as a scenographic exhibition designer and pedagogic art mediator also the aesthetic handling of theater-distant spaces. In 2013 she was a scholarship holder of the 49th International Forum of the Berlin Theatertreffen. Christina Mrosek works in particular with the directors Isabel Osthues, Lily Sykes, Tim Egloff, Tobias Heyder. For ten years, she has been involved in a content-artistic collaboration with director Cilli Drexel. Their common focus is on the implementation / spatial conception for New Drama and World Premiere. Numerous works have been awarded and invited to festivals such as the Autorentheatertage and the Mülheimer Theatertage. Most recently, the joint production “defending Europe” by Konstantin Küspert at the E.T.A. Hoffmann-Theater Bamberg was awarded the Audience Prize at the Mülheim Theatertage “Pieces 2017″.
