I’m Daria and I was born in Cottbus in 1996. I discovered my passion for everything to do with stories at a very early age. My favourite stories were the ones where I had to go into a dark room with lots of other people and wait for the light to go on. And I still remember exactly how I felt after the light went out again: full of happiness; full of energy! At the time, I said to myself: helping to create such a gift of energy should be my job.

But from 2016 to 2020, I first studied Visual Communication at the Bauhaus University Weimar and Film at the KASK School of Arts Ghent. In Weimar, I discovered my talent for creative conception and worked for advertising and film agencies. With my master’s degree in design at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences, however, my longing for the ‘real’ space began to grow. I took my first step in this direction as a graphic designer and concept developer in an exhibition office. This is where my enthusiasm for scenography was finally sparked. Today, I finally want to open up the dark, theatrical space. I want to turn content into images; to bring them into a symbiosis with other parts in order to create a story and ultimately a whole.
