Elisa Muylle (she/her) is a Belgian designer whose interdisciplinary practice is shaped by a passion for photography, art, performance, and theatre. In 2026, they completed their Master’s degree in Product Development at the University of Antwerp, with a focus on Interaction and Strategic Design. Their studies developed their skills in conceptual thinking, spatial awareness, research, and designing experiences.

Photography has been an important part of their artistic practice from an early age. They began shooting on film at the age of fifteen, which developed their sensitivity to space, light, composition, and visual storytelling. Their interest in the visual arts was further explored during a drawing and painting course in Florence, Italy.

From the age of four to sixteen, they trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance, performing on stages in Belgium and Spain. This early connection to movement and performance continues to influence their understanding of space and remains a strong source of inspiration.

Their interests span the different elements that come together in a theatrical experience, from set and costume design to lighting, sound, movement, and performance. Music, art, and theatre continually inspire their creative practice and curiosity.

With a background in product and interaction design, photography, and performance, they aim to bring their existing skills into the field of stage design and scenography. They are particularly interested in exploring how space, light, objects, sound, and movement can come together to create meaningful and immersive experiences. Pursuing scenography feels like a natural continuation of their creative path and a way to work within the field that inspires them most.
