Ilgın Özkazanç was born in 1996 in Ankara, Turkey. She finished her Bachelor Degree in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department at Bilkent University (2019), where she forms her fundamental design understanding. During her studies, she worked in several different Architectural firms as a trainee. After her graduation, she worked as an assistant at a contemporary art gallery in Istanbul that aims to help develop the new generation of great Turkish artists. She experienced the exhibition process from realizing an artist’s vision for a new media installation to developing public art projects and their design attempts as a whole. Later on, she began to work as Scene Design Assistant at State Theatre where she had the chance to gained knowledge both in theoretical and practical in Scenic Design and took parts on several different plays.
