Inés Peláez is an actress, writer, director, and artist, born in Mexico City. With a strong background in theater, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater and Acting from the Centro Universitario de Teatro (CUT) at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), one of the most renowned institutions in Latin America. She later continued her academic training with a Master’s degree in Art & Science from the Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien in Austria.
As co-founder of the theater company “Los Conjurados Teatro,” Inés has dedicated over a decade to theatrical creation and exploration, collaborating both with her own company and in other projects. Her international experience, particularly her residency in Santiago, Chile, has been a key source of inspiration in her artistic development.
Passionate about the intersection of art and science, Inés has integrated elements of physics and astronomy into her work, creating an interdisciplinary approach that has enriched both her theatrical productions and her broader artistic expression.
