Janne is from Belgium and studied interior architecture at Antwerp University, where her fascination with the interaction between man, space and object was central.
During her studies, her interest grew increasingly towards the artistic side of the profession. She joined Curating The Young, a young and dynamic curatorial collective that organises exhibitions throughout Flanders and Brussels. Through this, the collective offers young artists a platform and guides them in their development. It was an experience that gave her new insights into her own role as a designer.
She also participated in the Graphic Matters workshops in Breda and After Summer School Campo in Ghent, where she came into contact with artists from different disciplines. These experiences made her aware of how design can merge beautifully with other art forms.
Her passion for connecting design, architecture and art has remained her main driving force ever since.
