I was born and raised in Berlin and have been working regularly in set and stage design since graduating from high school. Through my work on various film, television and theatre productions, I was able to gain insights into the conception and implementation of stage spaces and set designs. In the process, I learned how important the connection between idea, design and craftsmanship is – and how varied this profession can be.
During my communication design studies, which I completed in 2023, I worked as a set dresser for advertising productions. This was followed by an internship with an artist and collaboration on a short film. I find it particularly exciting how art, architecture and interior design come together with performing arts to bring stories to life. During a six-month internship at an exhibition design office, I was able to gain a lot of practical experience and further develop my eye for interior design. Through the master’s programme at the TU, I would like to expand my work even more in the direction of scenography with the aim of creating spaces that tell stories and evoke emotions.
