Klemens Kühn

Stage- and Costume Designer, Scenographer

Was born in 1964 in Torgau and studied scenography with Volker Pfüller at the Weißensee School of Art. As a freelance stage and costume designer, he worked in theaters in Halle, Dresden, Weimar, Bremen and Cologne, among others. In 1996/97 he realized a ceiling painting of 120sqm in the Baroque Theater Neubrandenburg using a historical painting technique.

Since 2001 Klemens Kühn has worked regularly as an exhibition designer for the Alice Kindermuseum Berlin, the Hygienemuseum Dresden, the Historisches Museum Hannover and the Lutherstiftungen Wittenberg, among others. His interactive children’s exhibitions have been lent to many museums in Germany and Europe. In 2019-21 he realized a permanent exhibition at the Museum Bahnhof Bebra.
