Louisa was born in Nuremberg in 1998. During her studies of ‘Spatial Concept and Design’ in Hamburg, she discovered her passion for scenography, especially for theater stages. Her graduation project and the stage design for the novel ‘The Stranger’ by Albert Camus intensified her desire to create spaces that tell stories.
In her spatial installations, she deals with socio-political themes and uses the space to give them expression. The aim is to encourage viewers to critically engage with the subject matter. In addition to spatial installations, Louisa also works with painting and wood construction and experiments with new materials and forms.
For several years, Louisa has been designing and building festival stages with a Berlin collective, for example for Fusion, the Feel Festival and 3000 Grad. This has enabled her to intensify and expand the craft skills she had already learned. She learned further stage construction skills as a stage technician at the Volksbühne Berlin.
For her future, she hopes to combine creative creation processes with the technical implementation of these.
