Mostafa Moradian

Mostafa Moradian, an Iranian stage designer, was born in 1986. He graduated from Tehran University’s Faculty of Fine Arts with a bachelor’s degree in stage design and a master’s degree in architecture.

Mostafa has worked as a stage designer in various artistic projects since 2010 and has collaborated with many directors. In his works of art, he tries to make a connection between place and space. He collaborates with the director and executive team in various contexts such as sketches, mockups and software.

He is the founder and supervisor of the EGO stage design group in Iran and from 2016 to 2023 he has worked as a stage design lecturer in University of Tehran.

In addition to stage design, he specializes in making cinematic, architectural and stop-motion replicas. He is also the author of four specialist books in the field of stage design, theater sketches and theater design in Persian. He is currently a master’s student in Bühnenbild_Szenischer Raum at Technical University of Berlin.
