Philipp Eyselein is a designer working in the field between vestimentary objects, space, and atmosphere.
During his Bachelor’s studies in Fashion Design at Pforzheim University, he explored how garments can act as spatial and performative media that invite the viewer to intervene in everyday life. His bachelor’s project „following poppy lascelles“ staged Nietzsche’s „The Birth of Tragedy“ and the Dionysian myth as a cultic play of the delirious dream – oscillating between ecstasy and the dissolution of the self. After a material-focused excursion into the world of knitwear, he has now redirected his attention toward scenography. His current work examines how material tactility and digital augmentation can be interwoven to create new forms of bodily and spatial experience.
