Luise is a designer from Germany. After completing a voluntary cultural service (FSJ Kultur), she earned a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture and gained practical experience in architectural firms. Her design trajectory links classical spatial planning with a pronounced curiosity for performative and narrative formats — writing, music-making, performance and theatre are integral parts of her artistic-design practice. In her bachelor’s thesis, “Körper, Raum, Identität: ein modulares Bühnenbildsystem mit performativer Auseinandersetzung” (Body, Space, Identity: a Modular Stage-Design System with Performative Engagement), she systematically examined the interplay of body and space and developed an adaptive concept that understands spatial structures as active partners in performative processes. The work demonstrates her methodological rigor in combining architectural precision with experimental, process-oriented working methods. Central to Luise’s practice is the multisensory shaping of spaces: she is interested in how environments act not only visually but also acoustically, tactilely and atmospherically, thereby influencing perception and movement. Strongly influenced by surrealism and natural phenomena, she develops suggestive realities with targeted emotional impact. Luise now intends to deepen her expertise in stage design and scenic space at TU Berlin in order to further expand her knowledge through theoretical reflection and practiceoriented projects.
