The interdisciplinary theatre spectacle “Karl May Total” combines opera, theatre, dance, performances, and installations. The result is 10 projects that take a new, unexpected look at the Saxon adventure author – beyond the famous novel characters Winnetou and Old Shatterhand. Under the supervision of Prof. Kerstin Laube, the students developed productions, installations, stage, and costumes on the character “Karl May”, transforming the entire theatre into a universe of May’s experience.
