Matteo Marangoni

Matteo Marangoni was born in Verona in 1993. He studied architecture at the Istituto Universitario Architettura Venezia, from which he graduated with a master’s degree in 2020. Since always interested in art, during his studies he cultivated his passion for painting and drawing, which led him to take part to a joint exhibition at a public event in his town. His studies have given him the opportunity to make contact with the theme of interior and scenic spaces. From this point of view, the experience of Erasmus in the city of Hamburg at the Hafencity Universität was particularly formative, mainly thanks to the attendance of the course “Gestaltung und Design II: Innenraum” held by Professor Matthias Ballestrem. He finds nourishment for his imagination in literature and poetry. By studying stage design and scenic space he aims to achieve a union between the conceptual harmony of the visual work and the architectural space.
