Paula Koch studied spatial strategies and scenography at the Muthesius Kunsthochschule Kiel.

Her years of study were characterized by the exploration of space as the interface of different art forms. Beginning with a very theoretical and logical approach to spaces, she wanted to know and understand them fundamentally as physical quantities. Over time, a more abstract form of space emerges within her works. They are dedicated to the theme of social spaces. Her work discusses and questioned spaces defined by political, urban and cultural parameters.

After completing her studies she then started working in an architectural office and gains important planning and foundation-based experience.

However the fascination of theatre and its political and social power are always recurring. Paula is enthusiastic about the versatility and individuality of theatrical interpretations and looks forward with curiosity to the upcoming study of the scenic space.
