At the end of the GDR the subject monitoring seemed to be a closed chapter in German history. Nowadays, after the revelations of Edward Snowden, as well as in times of terrorism, the topic has won new relevance. For three students from the director’s program at the Academy of Music HFM Hanns Eisler the joinery becames the subject of artistic reflection, when they bring the three pieces to the stage in cooperation of the Universities and the Deutsche Oper Berlin together with voice students and the Echo ensemble.
